Taken by itself that might not be enough, but as other folks have said, Kate's storyline revolves around mom issues, Jack's around daddy. Both Sawyer and Kevin were shown to have glaringly failed in the Kate's baby daddy and happiness/marriage department...Jate, however, was equated with heaven and their engagement was, imo, an unresolved promise literally & in terms of a foreshadowing plot device. Their eventual emotional and physical union, like the rings which have been so symbolic on the show, will bring their individual storylines as well as that of the show mytharc full circle.
On that note, there's also the parallels between J/K and Adam and Eve, and I firmly believe TPTB have saved the visual of Jate's love making for on the island so to conclude the "all women who get preggers on it die" plot...Because the island is Shephardland and Jack is King and Kate is Queen and only they can rule it. So I think the probability of a Jaby is high and based on solid reasoning.
In quanto a me penso che in effetti avrebbe davvero senso..ma chissà,magari Aaron è gia QUEL bambino.vedremo...
