Well this will probably get me flamed from all quarters but as I've always done, I post only what I'm sent and as you know I really could not give a flying fig who ends up with who, apart from hopefully Claire and Kate but I digress.
Anywho, I was chatting with one of my contacts who has been lucky enough to see the first 3 episodes and he was amazed at the amount of heated discussion that the "shipper" stuff generated, he really was taken aback and had no idea about shipping before I tried to explain it to him and pointed to a few threads here at DarkUFO. As a result I asked him quite off the cuff, based on what he's seen and read on the first 10-11 episodes who he thought would end up together. After this we decided it might make for an interesting thread if I contacted other sources and asked their opinions based on what they know of Season 6 so far who they think will ultimately end up together. The chart on the left shows each sources opinion of who will end up with who and in what timeline (Note: The timelines may at some point "merge" so it might not be relevant later in the Season anyway lol). What I found interesting was that a number of sources that there would be no "couples" at all based on their knowledge.
Note: That not all sources have seen all the episodes and some have only read 6-7 scripts or have knowledge of various episodes and there are still 7-8 hrs left of Lost still to film so this is by no means a definitive answer and should be seen as a bit of FUN and a glimpse into where the stories are headed.

- the only 2 sources that have Skate as endgame in AU,have Jate endgame on the island. I think it's possible that skate will have "more" scenes in AU . But I think it's interesting to see that these 2 sources put Jate as endgame on island anyway,so,imo,they could be like those fans who think that the writers might end it with Jate on island and Skate off island,so to give everyone something. [I think this is pure crap btw. I can see the writers giving something to skaters through the AU (we already know for example that skate will flirt,and share a slamming against the wall scene of epic luv!) but from there to "end up together" it's all another story. Anyway I not only think that the true reality is the island,obviously,but also that one of the timelines will prolly vanish at some point,at it should be the AU where the characters we see are alternate characters,completely different people,not the ones we've known for 5 years and who made this story.]

- 2 source answered Jate on island and noone in AU. Interesting.This what we all wish will happen.I think that even if something could happen between anyone in AU,it's a little weird that someone will "end up together" there. Let alone having Kate ending up with both guys in 2 different realities. That wouldn't be just weird,it'd be mental.
- 1 source answered Jate in both, island and AU. Even more interesting. We'll definitely have some Jate in AU,maybe not so much but they will meet and prolly share some "we're meant to be in all the timelines,worlds and whatever-other-fuckery" look or something
- No one answered Skate on island. *insert very ev0l grin here*
Of course this are just the sources' opinions,and we don't know how much each one of them knows about season6, but it looks quite good to me because see,only 2 sources answered with "skate" and both in Au,so let's for a second assume the "worst" and that this two sources who answered skate are the ones who have seen the most of s6. If they think skate could be together in AU,well,they STILL put Jate as endgame on island. Get my point? ;)
sarebbe un'enormissima crap se, per accontentare tutti, si finisse da una parte jate e dall'altra skate. Ma a 'sto punto mi sa che finirà proprio così, perché gli autori temono legnate.
Nn credo assolutamente che gli autori facciano una cagata simile!
In primis perchè, come ha detto anche Frà, ad un certo punto le due timeline convergeranno in un'unica un pò come in Sliding Doors.
Poi che senso avrebbe l'aver fatto dire a Jack nel season finale "If it's meant to be, it's meant to be!"
Questa frase assume un maggior significato soprattutto ora che sappiamo che ci sarà una realtà alternativa. Quest'ultima servirà proprio a farci vedere, secondo me, che certe sono destinate a verificarsi in ogni caso!
Una cosa simile si è già vista in Felicity, altro tf di JJ, in cui la protagonista nel finale tornava nel passato per cambiarlo dopo il tradimento del suo grande amore e per riprovare con "l'altro", ma alla fine tutto la riconduceva sempre e comunque al suo grande amore.
Altra cosa detta dagli autori è che la scelta di Kate sarà chiara, cristallina e senza alcuna ambiguità. In questo modo nn lo sarebbe per nulla!
Bò io credo che nonostante molte volte i Darlton abbiano forzato la situazione facendo anche delle sciocchezze, nel finale metteranno tutto a posto. E le cose andranno come è giusto che debbano andare!
Almeno è quello che mi auguro! :D
Bè Mari,nonostante la mia scarsa fiducia nei loro confronti QUELLA è proprio una cosa che ancora spero nn facciano! anche x' credo che triangolo sarà cmq chiuso praticamente alla fine della s6,per cui ormai lo show è finito e a chi possono importare le "lagnate" di un micromillesimo del fandom?XD
Francamente mi aspetto qualche cazzata, ma quella di far finire Kate con uno in una realtà e con l'altro nell'altra,mi sembra proprio la vaccata del millennio. Li posso vedere usare l'AU x dare qualcosa agli skaters,quello si,ma un'altra cosa è far "end up together" s&k nell'altra realtà,non penso che LOST avrà "due fini" una sull'isola e un'altra (dove? a Wisteria Lane? XD) penso che l'AU svanirà ad 1 certo punto anche se non so come o quando,ma cmq,presupponiamo che come dice Cin,la fine possa essere con i Losties dell'AU che arrivano sull'isola mentre gli altri muoiono; bhe,in pratica sarebbe poi come un cerchio da cui ricomincerebbe la season1. S&K dell'AU potrebbero anche essere stati insieme prima (come tra l'altro è avvenuto anche sull'isola,dato che lo skate è accaduto prima del jate)ma se è 1 cerchio e nel finale vedremo che sn J&K quelli finiti insieme sull'isola..bè,anche nell'AU si ripeterà la stessa cosa quindi anche se non lo vedremmo(x' lo show finisce)il concetto sarebbe sempre che sn J&K,quelli che sn finiti insieme,lol,mi spiego? XD
Cmq si vedrà,ma per ora non lo prendo in considerazione. Penso che l'AU sia li x fare da mirror a ciò che succede nella vera realtà,ovvero l'isola. Un pò come han sempre fatto i FB e i FF. Non lo considero importante come l'isola,che è ciò che abbiamo visto x 5 anni! è li che voglio la risoluzione del triangolo, voglio l'ILY di Kate a Jack e vedere J&K insieme. Nell'AU,loro sn tutt'altre persone,J&K praticamente nn si conoscono e il triangolo manco esiste XD
Anche io sinceramente avevo pensato a questo finale che io chiamo "paraculo" con J&K in una realtà e K&S nell'altra...spero sinceramente che non lo facciano perchè sarebbe appunto un finale di comodo.
Però non ho aspettative,sono troppo spaventata e quindi preferisco pensare male visto che ci resta solo questa stagione e poi basta ed io ho un sacco di cose che vorrei vedere tipo incontro Claire-Jack e resterei troppo delusa
è vero che questo non è proprio uno spoiler ma credo sia significativo che nessuno veda lo skate on island...e ci mancherebbe altro dico io, col corpo di Blondie ancora caldo!
la AU a un certo punto finirà e devo dire che per dare qualche soddisfazione agli skaters il modo migliore è dar loro qualche scena nella AU, tanto l'isola, ovvero il destino, ovvero l'essenza di Lost è il regno del Jate, il paradiso terrestre dei nostri Adamo ed Eva.
Dio, io spero che non facciano una cosa del genere, on island jate e off island skate. Non reputo i darlton così stupidi però pur di accontentare il pubblico, si può fare qualsiasi cosa e sono terrorizzata!

Battute a parte, io nn penso che i darlton siano così rinco.... e ve lo dice una che per loro nutre fiducia pari quasi a zero! Un pò di logica deve esserci nella storia! Loro faranno le loro scelte indipendentemente dai gusti del pubblico, perchè la storia che essi hanno scritto è quella ed è sempre stata tale. In questi anni hanno giocato moltissimo per tenersi buone le ship, ma a show concluso cosa può più fregargliene?
Sanno già a priori che qualcuno rimarrà deluso e questo nn solo per il triangolo. Quindi io continuo a sperare...Go Jate Go...il 2010 dev'essere nostro! :)

Io lo dissi due secondi dopo la season finale di quinta stagione.Sull'isola è proprio impossibile che facciano lo Skate con appunto il corpo di Juju ancora caldo!Soprattutto considerando che di solito il tempo in Lost passa proprio al rallentatore.Quindi tra il primo e ultimo episodio secondo me passerà una settimana o qualcosa di più.Ma senza dubbio troppo poco tempo per una storia Skate.Sempre che non facciano un epilogo tot anni dopo.Io la vedo così.Ma poi nel finale di quinta stagione le coppie erano ben chiare e anche chi amava chi.Vedremo i Darlton che combineranno...
